What we do to help young people find their way
Switch Mentoring is a specialist educational support service operating across Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. We partner with primary and secondary schools to provide targeted mentoring programmes for children who are finding it challenging to access and thrive within mainstream educational environments.
Our heritage
As the sister company of Switch Rugby, we bring extensive experience in player development, coach education, and community sport. This background gives us unique insights into how sport can be a powerful tool for personal development and positive change.
1-2-1 Mentoring

Delivered through our flagship rugby-specific route, multi-sport, or cultural pathways, every mentoring journey is designed around individual interests and personal goals.
School placement

A dedicated mentor based in your school, building lasting relationships with students and staff.
From one day a week to multiple days, our embedded approach ensures immediate, ongoing support and a trusted presence that helps young people thrive.
Group mentoring 
Shared experiences. Stronger connections
Up to four young people learn together in a supportive space, developing teamwork, communication, and social confidence.
Group mentoring builds trust, encourages participation, and helps young people grow through shared goals and peer support.
Rugby mentoring
Where sport drives personal growth
Launching January 2026 — our dedicated rugby-based mentoring hub offers 1–2 days per week of structured support, combining mentoring, sport, and academic development.
Young people work towards a recognised rugby qualification while building confidence, discipline, and key life skills through the game they love.
